This book is one that I thought I was a waste of money when I bought it but over the past year this book has become a vital part of my library. I would highly recommend it to any one that is coding HTML.

The Sybex series of "Complete" titles is a compendium of several books (usually four) into one thick reference book printed on cheapish newsprint quality paper. The tradeoff is that this series of books is one of the cheapest you'll find on the shelf. Since these reference books contain four separate treatments of the same topic you'll spend a lot of time in the index when you're looking for the help.
Also, don't be surprised if you end up reading what seems to be an introduction half way through the book.

"HTML Complete" contains four books that were published independently and are now being drawn together as a reference.

"Mastering HTML 4.0" by Deborah Ray & Eric Ray
"Mastering HTML 4" by Deborah Ray & Eric Ray
"Mastering Microsoft Internet Explorer 4" by Gene Weisskopf & Pat Coleman
"HTML 4.0, No Experience Required" by Stephen Mack & Janan Saylor

One of the nice things about a book the draws together four different opinions is that you're not stuck with just one angle. Here you're likely to have at least two different authors touch on the same subject.

Summary: The 23 chapters in this book cover every thing to do with HTML. I can truly state that over the past two years this book has yet to fail me when I'm looking for something related to HTML.
